Job Title: PDC Supervisor

Duration: Temp 1-2 months (Early March)
Payrate: $32-$38 an hour
Summary
This short-term supervisory role oversees daily operations within a high-volume Parts Distribution Center. The position is responsible for leading frontline employees, ensuring safe and accurate warehouse processes, maintaining KPI performance, and supporting efficient inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows. The Supervisor will train and coach team members, manage performance expectations, and support operational planning and execution to keep the facility running smoothly and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision to distribution center personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and clean operations.
- Lead onboarding, on-the-job training, and ongoing skills development for employees; oversee trainers and safety-focused training programs.
- Conduct regular performance discussions, daily audits, and formal biannual reviews to support employee development.
- Monitor workload, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational KPIs and service standards.
- Manage administrative processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of operational reports and documentation.
- Communicate daily with leadership, internal teams, and external partners as needed.
- Support cost-control efforts by following spending guidelines and maintaining operational budget awareness.
- Oversee inventory activities including inspections, cycle counts, mixed stock resolutions, and dealer return issues.
- Ensure accurate material handling, part counts, and movement integrity throughout the facility.
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with facility layout evaluations and recommendations for improved space utilization.
- Participate in physical inventories, quality inspections, and audits as required.
- Provide input for operational and capital budget planning and partner with leadership on process improvements.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of frontline supervisory experience with proven leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot operational issues, and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with intermediate-level software tools (word processing, spreadsheets).
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
